The Club Weekend

Ballydugan Training Weekend 2007

Another good training weekend although it did not quite have the comic value of previous years. Yes we missed people locking themselves in or out of the cottages. And we really missed the great lunches at Maeve's.

Yes look at that table and the training diet. Wine, guinness, beer, vodka, gin, and that's just for me.

On the cycle I was surprised that  I got to the top of the steepest hills and to the bottom of the steepest hill in front of Eamon. Though I have to be honest and say that he pushed me up the hills and going flat out down the steepest hill he had a horrendous speed wobble which slowed him down just a tab.

As usual we all had a good meal in the Mill

Kevin is still trying to get his phone to work. Hey Kevin there is no signal.

Derek relaxed as usual.

Food is coming

Nigel and Sean. One was the 10 mile time trial record holder and one wasn't. Now which one is which?

Money laundering is all part of the training.

Lunar eclipse one Saturday, this the next Saturday

Pub owners keep Eamon amused with interesting ghost stories.

Mine's a pint of plain.

Drew remembers those old public information announcement from the 60s. "Wear something white at night."

Walking home from restaurant in the early hours

Tony entertains in the cottage. Tony can play and sing any song and he knows all the words as well as all the notes.

Halfway though the cycle and we stop for buns and tea.
