25th Anniversary of OTC

As some of you may be aware this is the 25th Anniversary of our club – so it is very apt and fitting that we have Ann as our Chair person as she was a founding member of the club. Ali has agreed to co ordinate a celebratory function, with the help of others including Sean and Kiwi. If you have ideas or would like to help in this event or tracing previous members please see Ali

Club Away Trip

Athlone has been chosen as the event which we hope as many members will get entries for so that we can make it a club tour. There are tri/sprint and Olympic distance races and it is the European Championships so it is a great opportunity to race on the same course as top triathletes – then celebrate your success! Tony and Heather will investigate accommodation options – so let us know when you are entered.

Mourne Triathlon 2010

7th August 2010 has been confirmed for our Olympic distance Race.
The committee has agreed to a proposal by Pioneer to develop Mourne Triathlon, Mourne Youth triathlon and a Children’s Aquathon series.
We look forward to the opportunities their proposal will mean for us as a club to develop the sport on a professional basis. Many Thanks to Johnny for developing this proposal and to Jan who has agreed to be race Director.
