Hello there, We just wanted to inform you the schedule for the 2010 waterways ireland triAthlone event, incorporating the european triathlon championshipsis now available at www.triathlone.com Its been a hard slog trying to sort all 8 events into slots that will create the optimum experience for athletes, spectators, locals and theall important TV. We are also happy to annouce that we have added a limited entry Olympic distance Event to the schedule due to popular demand.Obviously the sprint event just doesnt satisfy a significant number of you.... On top of all this, we have a brand new bike course this year. Here is a brief breakdown of the weekends events, all nitty gritty details (exact times and the order) will be updated as we get closer to the weekend. I would offer to help with cardiac services but will probably need them myselves!! :)
I have offered to investigate accomodation in Athlone so it would be helpful if I had a rough idea of numbers - could you let me know if you think you may be going.
I have provisional bookings in a B+B from last year but am hoping that we will need something bigger.
It really is a fantastic race which takes over the whole town and is brilliant to see top athletes performing.
