Millisle 5/10 k Sat 24th April

Here is a great race I did last year and can highly recommend ....

PSC 10K/5K RUN/WALK

No Registrations after 10.30 am on race day
Please note that the race will be run on public roads which will be open to traffic
Shower and changing facilities are available
Entry fee also includes BBQ

Direction -
Travelling from Belfast to Millisle
Travel to Newtownards from Belfast via Upper Newtownards Road, passing through Ballyhackamore, passing Ulster Hospital, through Dundonald, onto dual carriageway to roundabout at Ards Shopping Centre.

Take first left at this roundabout.

Go to first set of traffic lights, turn right and keep going straight, staying in left hand lane (travelling through Newtownards town centre) until you come to a small roundabout.

Turn left and go into right hand lane to take a right at next roundabout (as road markings indicate).

Turn right here ie 3rd exit (signposted for Millisle).

Straight on for about 0.1 miles (past petrol station), turn right onto Movilla Road (having passed Movilla High School).

Travel on straight for about 3 miles (signpost for Millisle).

Turn right at staggered crossroads just before petrol station onto Ballyblack Road East.

Drive for about 800 yards, turn left onto Moss Road.

This will bring you into Millisle.

Turn right and go for approximately 1½ miles passing through Millisle and towards Ballywalter.

Prison Service College is large cream building on right hand side with wall and houses to the left of it.
