WELL DONE BOY OH's

Congratulations to Stephen, John,David, Clifford and co who completed thier very first triathlon at the weekend ......... Brings back so many pleasant memories of my first Camlough 4/5 years ago.... ;)
The torture of the swim... the feel of near drowning as people bang in to you, swim over you and then hit your goggles off !......... The tranisition...... as you fumble, are all fingers and thumbs as you try to get your wet suit off with freezing hands and feet. The bike ... as you yo - yo towards poeople in front and then watch them disappear over a hill, another hill and zoom zoom zoom it's over in a flash ..... The run (my favourite bit!, not!) when yee grab some jelly babies as bribery to keep running .............
... The best bit ..........the FINISH!!! as your fellow olympians cheer you over the line ... woopdie woop! ..... you fall over, legs ache, arms ache, everything aches, you feel like vomiting.... heart rate erratic ..... and you say to yourself ! ........... option 1: I'm never doing that again!
or option 2: Woo hoo rock on the next one !!
