Olympian Triathlon Club Kids Aquathon

Olympian Triathlon Club in conjunction with the Pioneer Group, welcomed 70 young athletes to the Kids Aquathon at Olympia Leisure Centre in Belfast. This Triathlon Ireland sanctioned event was open to competitors aged from eight to eighteen and to both able-bodied athletes and athletes with disabilities.

Johnny Davis, Managing Director of the Pioneer Group and member of Olympian Triathlon Club commented, “Congratulations to all those who took part in our Junior and Kids Aquathon yesterday. It was great to see so many happy smiling faces all putting so much effort into the event.

Increasing event opportunities for younger athletes is a priority for both us at the Pioneer Group and for Olympian Triathlon Club and we intend to host more events for juniors in the near future.

The levels of enthusiasm and talent these young athletes showed were a promising sign for the future of Triathlon in Ireland.
